Ok David....now you have confused me. I had pre ordered a black Zune but now I see the Brown one and like it better. I am switching to Brown now!!!!
How come there are no action shots of the Zune white?
Nice beard David...

re no white zunes - it's a conspiracy ;)
That brown zune has my name on it. David, how about some linkage, www.zune60.net. Thanks.
Hey david,
I'm still confused about the doubleshot thing. Is it like an extra coating of paint, how does it work? Is it glow in the dark? What exactly makes the second coloring?

This is just a guess but, to me, it looks like the brown one is really translucent green plastic then "panted" some shade of brown on the inside surface.
If you took that photo congrats, it looks very professional, and it really sells the brown.
How does the screen brightness on the Zune compare to the 5.5G iPod? Will it be just as bright when at the highest setting?
I've held them side by side and they look about the same. I can't say I've done rigorous testing though.
Thanks for the kind words on the photo; took it with a macro lens at my favorite coffee house over in Seattle.
