Jade Computer Catalog, 1989 (ish)

A couple of years ago I unpacked a box in the garage and found a catalog from the Jade Computer store, which presumably was in Indianapolis in about 1989-90. Many cool pages, but a few special ones are shown below. Note the MS DOS packages, the Mouse from the Dawn of Time, the awesome lightning fast modems (remember modems?), the Math Coprocessors (remember those?) and the Intel Above Board - designed to work around the 640k memory limit on most PCs.

So, any comment on those beta screenshots circulating?
Or too good to be true.

Was that meeting for 'developers' a sign that the Zune could become a platform - maybe Silverlight?

Wow, a brand new 9600 baud modem! Sweet! Actually, I started out at 2400 and it stayed that way for quite a while. I was so jealous of my best friend and his shiny new 14400 modem. Anyway, great post, thanks!

And Joe: They're quite obviously fake. He doesn't comment on unannounced things blah blah, wait until there's a convincing photoshop job, then ask...

Where's the follow up on the NPD information you posted. Major financial journals and sites continue to comment that NPD does not have access to Apple's own retail figures...

Yet you say they're wrong...

We haven't heard from you in long time. Everything ok? Are you still with the Zune team?
