Leprechaun79, I am looking forward to the lipo discussion this week on CWN. I recently purchased two 7.4v lipos from MA (true 100C? For about 110.00) they perform no different than my two GensAce lipos at 25C which cost me 20.00 shipped. Very ticked about it too. That’s 110 I could have spent on hop ups at thetoyz. Lol
SCT now has a chance to get in to the 1/8 scale racing group… with HPI having a truck and Team Associated having a truck , might be a question as how long before OFNA and Losi and maybe .. mugen , get in and launch a SCT platform .. .. and as far as scale goes… even this is not a new concept.. example Tamiya RC has had some very scale RC’s .. and really best way to describe what goes on in RC is an evolution of technology… think of this .. blue-tooth programming for you ESC would be cool

I love how your getting with all the other “youtubers” that I watch and many others.
Im not saying that they will be removed. I am saying that the cycle of the 2wd SCT is starting to really go back on itself, 4wd is starting to peak, and someting else should come after. Be it, scale SC, 10th buggy 2wd, etc. Buggy, as an example, died out in popularity with the truggy come up, and then it has returned back.
Its cyclical, I think we are talking the same thing but in different ways, but a RC will only have the lime light for so long before interest goes elsewhere,.
@squirrelod Agreed, classes tend to cycle out, but some classes seem to hold up over time than others. example: 1/10 2wd buggy/Truggy, 1/8 4wd nitro buggy/Truggy, Pan cars (on road), 1/10 Touring cars (TC) have held up rather well.
However 1/10 Drifting, Rally, F1 and 4wd Buggy/Truggy seemed to have removed completely from most manfacturer line-ups entirely at one point or another. although F1 an Rally are trying to re-surface.
It would seem SCT will probably be the former, not the latter
