Here’s a review of the Samsung Vibrant Video Out Cable: www.amazon.com Also you can extend the assortment of the RCA cables, see my blog post: samsungvibrantaccessories.net Video Rating: three / 5
Thanks for posting the video. I have tried 3 different RCA /3.5 mm video cords on 3 different tvs. I’ve followed all directions and still have not been able to make the video work. Do you have to use a special Samsung cable?
I’ve switched the position of the av cables, and I can only get a “glimpse” of what should be displayed. It wants to show the screen, but it’s messed up. What do you think the problem is? This same problem happens on both tv’s I’ve tried. ;(
OMG! I can’t believe I didn’t see this video before! Like a dummy, I chose to listen to someones video in europe or Australia to use the Nokia brand cable and it didn’t work, even when reversing the red and yellow plugs into opposite jacks. My old camcorder 3.5 mm tv cable worked after switching the audio and video plugs though. Before that, I just did what should be normal, plugging in the correct color plugs into the correct color jacks. why on earth did Samsung screw with us like that!!!???
So do you have to buy a specific cord, or does any cord work? I have a cord I use for my camcorder that does the same thing. I plug this cord into my phone, I get audio with no video. Why is that? It works fine with the camcorder, but the phone only displays the audio. -_- Why!?!?
By the way, yes the cord goes into the 3.5mm Headphone jack.
@MOTOCOMPOUSA that’s weird I’ve seen videos on youtube of people playing the racing game and watching youtube videos and stuff on a output to TV connection. maybe those were demo versions of the phone with more flexibility or something.
I think the cord i got is broken if anyone could help me. I plugged in my phone and changed the settings to tv out. I tried switching around all of the cables in case they got mixed up, but i can’t get anything. When i plug the red cable into the white port and play music i get sound through the tv, and the screen starts waving like it’s trying to play visual. Anyone have any idea what’s wrong?
@IIExTReMe but it can’t mirror which makes it useless IMO, plus you need a expensive adapter, this OTOH is a very cheap cable and the quality is acceptable.

@eyofoyeyo Avatar(the version that comes with the phone) is copyright protected & encrypted in a way that it won’t play on an output.
does not play anything else other than what you just talked about..no movies no games etc..!

Use a Zune AV cable and all the colors are correct. Plus they’re like 2 bucks on amazon.
